Early Thanksgiving

A wonderful weekend up north. A quick weekend trip, but the drive time was significantly reduced, so shorter trips are now possible. A weekend of family, good food, a fire in the fireplace from the first coffee to pjs and apple pie. Our early Thanksgiving with Steak was wonderful. We walked down to the water to take a few family photos and a few artsy photos. The flowers were from Andre and me for mom and Mimi. Reading by the fire made the work much more tolerable. Work's been steady at school and I have 6 orders for onesies! YAY! A little hobby turned profit :) Tomorrow is Dre and my 6 year anniversary...looking forward to steak when I come home from a long day and night of classes. Dre makes great meals, so a quiet evening at home with wine and a wonderful meal will be a perfect way to celebrate.

Doug- The CD was great - Dre and I love listening to it!
Gloxy - Love the photos! Keep 'em comin'!
Doe - how's my old job?
EmilyKatherine - Good luck with the job hunt
and Dre' Happy Anniversary Baby...I Love you.

crunch time!

Found myself restless last night and unable to sleep consecutive periods of time. Taking advantage of the day by cleaning, yes actually cleaning, unpacking, organizing and possibly using a screwdriver...just call me Ms fix it.

Pleased with my progress and looking forward to getting things in running order for he school year. got lost in the underground tunnels yesterday, oddly enough I thought I was headed to the pool...reminds me of the joke kids used to play on Freshman in High School.

My brother and I devoured some Abbott's custards last night, complete with a waffle bowl! mmm...

So much to do...but with a clear head we'll take it one box at a time. :)

Super Size Me

Finally watched Super Size Me directed by and starring Morgan Spurlock; couldn't help but make a trip to the Golden Arches to follow. I know it should have inspired me, but really, it made me crave the nuggets, the mystery meat. Surprisingly, the nuggets are only about 200 calories, so I didn't feel too guilty eating all 6. Although, I don't think I could eat Mccy D's everyday, let alone 3 times a day for a month, one box of chicken love won't put me over the edge. I would definitely recommend this documentary, followed by a Big Mac.
